Nov 4, 2022 – Local Greens rallied to support education workers.

Today local Greens rallied to support education workers and oppose the abuse of power with Bill 28. Even Santa joined us and he agrees – the government’s bullying tactics and abuse of Charter rights put them first on the naughty list!

Mike Schreiner has called on the Ford Government to bargain in good faith with Education Workers in the province. Ford’s attack on Charter Rights using the Notwithstanding Clause erodes our democracy. 

Mike’s statement today reads in part,  “If the Ford government is serious about keeping students in schools, it has to move immediately to prevent this strike by getting back to the bargaining table and halting this attack on Charter rights.”
