Join Our Regional Teams in Parry Sound-Muskoka!

You may have heard the rumours and seen the news coverage – a snap election in Ontario is becoming more and more likely every day. Your Ontario Greens are prepared, and planning, for an early election. Because Parry Sound-Muskoka is such a vast and diverse area, we need your help to ensure that every community is engaged and informed. To do that, we’re building dedicated regional teams to spread the word that Ontario Greens can win here!

What You’ll Do:

  • Door-to-Door Canvassing: Connect with neighbours and share our message directly.
  • Data Training & Phone Canvassing: Learn how to use data effectively to reach voters and make impactful phone calls.
  • Special Events: Help organize and participate in local events to raise awareness and support.
  • And more: A successful campaign relies on a wide range of talents, and we need your unique skills! Whether you’re great at organizing events, crafting buttons and posters, managing office tasks, or even just sharing snacks, there’s a place for you in our team.

Reach Out and Get Involved! No matter what your skill set is, we have a role for you. Let’s chat about how you can contribute to building a winning campaign in Parry Sound-Muskoka. Together, we can make a difference!

Events Recap!

What a summer it has been! Your PSM Ontario Greens have been BUSY and we are not done yet!

Muskoka Pride Parade & Festival

We asked, and YOU answered the call! Our community came together in an incredible way to celebrate and support Muskoka Pride. Whether as allies, friends, or members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, Parry Sound-Muskoka Greens truly stepped up.

Our team volunteered as parade marshals, hosted an information booth, and proudly marched in the parade alongside Matt Richter, Ontario Greens Deputy Leader, and Mike Schreiner, Leader of the Ontario Greens. Your enthusiasm and dedication made this event a huge success, and we’re so proud to stand together in support of equality and inclusion!

Mike Schreiner Visit

While Ontario Green Party Leader, Mike Schreiner, was in town we put him to work! We connected with some incredible groups in Bracebridge to hear about the challenges they face, the support they need, and the concerns they want Mike to bring back to Queen’s Park this fall. These conversations were invaluable as we work to support the organizations making a real difference in our communities.

One message was loud and clear: frontline workers need better pay and benefits to address the healthcare crisis we’re facing. Mike and the Ontario Greens are committed to pushing for fair compensation and safe workplaces for those in caring professions. We stand with these workers and will continue to advocate for the support they deserve.

Volunteer Info Session

We recently hosted an online Zoom session where participants had the chance to chat with our active volunteers and explore the various ways to get involved and make a Green difference in Parry Sound-Muskoka. The discussions were fantastic, and we’re excited to welcome all the new faces who are eager to join our efforts. We can’t wait to start working together to create positive change in our community!

Stay tuned to this email space for more exciting events and ways to get involved with the Parry Sound-Muskoka Ontario Greens!
