PSM GPO CA Executive Meeting – MONDAY March 27, 7:30 PM on Zoom
Members and volunteers are welcome to observe this regular PSM GPO CA Executive meeting. There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the meeting. The Zoom link will be sent on Monday morning to those who have registered.
Green Builders Campaign School
Five volunteers — 3 from Almaguin, 1 from Bracebridge and 1 from Gravenhurst signed up for the Green Builders School being offered by the Ontario Greens and taught by Maureen Balsillie, our campaign manager for Matt Richter’s election campaign last year. Classes run from March through to June. We look forward hearing about what they learn and how we can put it into action as we develop regional teams throughout the riding.
Paying It Forward
We were proud to see the familiar faces of Parry Sound-Muskoka callers supporting the GPO candidate in the Hamilton Centre By-election. Some have also signed up to support the PEI Greens in their provincial election April 3rd. The PEI Greens were the official opposition. Wouldn’t it be terrific to see the PEI Greens form the government after this election!

Earth Day Adopt-a-Highway Cleanup on Saturday, April 22, 10:00 AM
Several years ago, our Constituency Association adopted a stretch of Muskoka Rd 118 (formerly Hwy 118) in Milford Bay. Look for the Adopt-a-Highway signs next time you are travelling along that stretch.
We will be gathering to do a spring cleaning of the roadside there followed by an outdoor, chilli lunch on Earth Day.
Yours to Protect – Weekend of Action – April 21-23
Ontario Greens are determined to keep up the pressure on Doug Ford and our own MPP Graydon Smith to repeal Bill 23, keep the Greenbelt whole, stop their sprawl agenda and protect the places we love throughout Ontario. On the weekend of April 21-23, Greens across the province will join this weekend of action initiated by Environmental Defense.
Following on last fall’s successful day of action, we will have petitions and post cards for local action across the riding.
