Call to Action:

With healthcare crumbling, Ford is instead spending $13 B building HWY 413 to benefit a few, he has now opened the protected Greenbelt to developers under the guise of more housing and he is rushing through Bill 23, Build More Homes Faster Act, before new councils are in place in time to submit concerns. This bill opens up the Greenbelt, grows rural subdivisions (sprawl), and strips away powers to protect farmlands, wetlands, forests and waterways essential to addressing the climate crisis we face. It also overrides local municipal planning and governance. Some have described it as a Developers’ Charter. It is indeed a climate and affordable housing disaster To learn more about the dangers presented by this Bill, read Climate Action Muskoka’s submission to the government at this link here: Bill 23
